Virginia García del Pino

Barcelona (1966). Director, audiovisual artist, and instructor in the Master of Documentary program at UAB. She is part of what was called 'the other Spanish cinema' where she began her filmmaking career. In addition to numerous short films, she has made three feature films: The Jury (2012), The 10th Letter (2014), which premiered at the San Sebastián Festival, and The Love Scam (2023), recently awarded at the Los Trabajos y Las Noches festival. Her video creations have been exhibited at MNCARS, IVAM, CCCB, and the Tate Gallery, among others. Currently, she is a mentor in the NOKA program that supports emerging female directors from the Basque Country.
