Josetxo Cerdán

Josetxo Cerdán Los Arcos has been a tenured professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2003-2008) and the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (2008-2015). He is currently a Full Professor at the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid. Between September 2018 and December 2022, he was Director of the Filmoteca Española (Spain’s national film archive). Cerdán was also the director of the International Documentary Film Festival of Navarra. Punto de Vista (2010-2013) and has devised programmes for several national and international institutions such as the Locarno International Film Festival (2009); the Anthology Film Archive (2013); or the Lincoln Center (2014).
