Marcos Cabotá
Director
Marcos Cabotá was born in Palma de Mallorca in 1981. In 2010 he directed his first feature film, “Amigos”, which won the Audience Award at the Malaga Festival.
In 2013 he shot and premiered the short film “24 Horas con Lucía”. At the same time, he produced the short film “Foley Artist”, which was Finalist in the 2015 Goya Awards.
That same year, he joined forces with film director Toni Bestard to write the script for the documentary “I Am Your Father”, which won a Nomination for the Goya Awards for Best Documentary Film.
His short documentary “Kyoko” (co-written and co-directed with Joan Bover) won the Malaga Film Festival and earned him a new Goya Award Nomination.
He is currently in the production of his new feature film, “Sonic Fantasy”.
Joan Bover
Director
Vic (Barcelona), 1980. He worked for 6 years as editor and publisher at the news of Barcelona TV. During this period he has several documentary projects: "Verdaguer o Falso; la historia de una duda" and "Progresista y Galantes".
In 2011 he decided to move to Palma de Mallorca. Since then he has made several documentaries and reports with the production company Mosaic Producciones: "El Cometagiroavión y la leyenda del plagio" (or "La gran nevada, un año después").
In 2013 he founds his own production company, Far Visuals, with which he has produced documentaries such as "El aviador alemán y la sirena" and "Bubi Sansó y la vuelta al mundo en 80 días".
