Christina Rosenvinge

Composer, lyricist and performer of pop music with a career that is distinguished both by eclecticism - including incursions into literature, film and theatre - and by an artistic restlessness that has transcended decades, styles and labels to position her as a leading figure in the Spanish-American singer-songwriter scene. Before going solo, she was a member of Ella y los Neumáticos, Alex y Christina, Christina y los Subterráneos. She has recorded a total of 12 albums. With the last one, Un Hombre Rubio, she was awarded the Premio Nacional de Músicas Actuales 2018. In 2019 she published her first book, Debut (Literatura Random House) where she compiles lyrics, texts and stories, as well as an essay on sung verse entitled “La palabra exacta”. In 2020 the film Karen directed by María Perez was released, in which she plays the role of the writer Karen Blixen. Two years later, she took on the musical direction and lead role in a stage project about the Greek poet Sappho. In 2023 she plans to release an album featuring Sappho’s poems adapted into a pop song.
