After years of trying, stumbling and precariousness, dragging the shadow of a brilliant and cursed musician, Kiko Veneno gives himself the last chance to make a living from music. In the years leading up to Expo92, Seville undergoes a moment of transformation that affects the whole city unevenly. This film is a collective portrait of the people and spaces that were part of the process of creating the album ;Échate un cantecito, one of the most influential works of popular music in Spanish. Lived and shot between Seville and London, this musical film is about music.

His work as a director ranges from a more conceptual approach to cinema to a cinematographic development, where music encourages new artistic searches. His first feature film Barza premiered at SEFF in the New Waves Section, winning the DELUXE award for best Spanish director. It was premiered internationally and won awards at prestigious festivals such as IDFA (Official Section), IndieLisboa (Official Section), FIDBA (Special Mention New Narratives) and Alcances (Best Film Award), among others. His documentary Bolingo. The forest of love; International Premiere at IDFA (Official Selection), had a great international tour and has been awarded several times. Las Alturas, a filmic poem made with animation techniques, has been premiered in the Official Section of the Malaga Festival and International Premiere at ANIMAFEST Zagreb. Awarded at the Contemporary Animation Festival of Madrid ANIMARIO or Alcances (Best Short Film in the Official Section).
