"Entre el monte y la marisma" is a story about friendship between Rafael de la Rosa Vega "Camarón de Plata" and Juan Mendoza Portillo "Juanillo" two illustrious characters from Sanlúcar de Barrameda who have been living in its streets since the late 90s. Despite the difficulties, outside time and social structures, optimism and singing are the forces behind their will to survive each day in a dignified way, blending in with the landscape.

Entre el monte y la marisma it is Niete’s first documental Project. He started to work in cinematography within the photography labour, thanks to a wide collection of photos of street people and national folklore. He has been involved in projects such as; El Bar (by Alex de la Iglesia), Pieles (by Eduardo Casanova), Tiempo Después (by José Luís Cuerda), ¿A quién te llevarías a una isla desierta? (by Jota Linares), or TV series such as; Capítulo 0 (by Ernesto Sevilla). He has worked as well in video advertisements for brands like Beefeater, Vodafone Yu, Nike or Sevilla FC. He is currently engaged with several productions with two audio-visual producers; Arcadia and Tornasol. Furthermore, he started to record with Rafael de la Rosa the iconic life of his adventures and misadventures mate Juan Mendoza, after years of friendship with de la Rosa. Entre el monte y la marisma it’s a movie that stands for the values of friendship, survival and optimism.
