Death is partly metaphysical, but it is also event, randomness, focalization, accident, death is Hegelian, but it is also Nietzschean; it is dialectic and eternal return of the same thing at the same time.

Aitor Etxebarria

Aitor Etxebarria

Born in Gernika in 1985, Aitor combines acoustic and electronic instruments with a primary focus on planes, strings and synthesizers, along with recordings ranging from depressive post-ambient landscapes to minimalist scenarios. A student of sound design, Etxebarria is a lover of repetitions with a passionate obsession. Far from sumptuousness and excesses, after the success of the soundtrack of the acclaimed documentary "Markak" about the traffic bombing of Gernika, in 2017, Aitor started a relationship with MUTE, home of Nick Cave or Max Richter in London and right now he is immersed in a new cinematic adventure with three-time Grammy winner Evelyn Glennie.
