Javi Senz began his career as a documentary filmmaker in Manchester, thus Manchester Keeps On Dancing was born and has been selected by Doc'n Roll Film Festival London in 2017 for its world premiere, Dock of the Bay Musical Documentary Film Festival, San Sebastian 2018, Bordeaux's Festival Musical Écran 2018, among others.

After the success of this documentary he was contacted by the production company Lost Paradise for the direction of Disco Confessions, a biographical documentary about the life of John Morales, DJ and producer of Disco music since the 70s.
