The 5th December 1950 saw the birth of Camarón de la Isla, the figure who caused a revolution in the art of Flamenco. Insulted by the purists and converted into a greatly-loved icon for the public and reference for the gypsy people, Camarón always lived his life to the limit. A genius ahead of his time, destined to become one of the most influential and decisive artists of the 20th century, despite his premature death in 1992. With a voice-over by Juan Diego and unpublished audiovisual footage, Camarón: Flamenco and Revolución reveals the person behind the myth, as well as the universal legacy of his work 25 years after his death.
