More than twenty years have passed since Cancer Moon gave their last live performance. The Gwendolyne in Getxo was the last venue to see Josetxo Anitua’s shamanic movements fronting the sound of a band at boiling point. But having determinedly trodden no man's land trapped them in a buffer zone that failed to provide them with a place on stage. Ahead of what was about to take off all over the planet, they were left in the category of a niche band with minimal media impact. Only with the passing of time were they elevated to the place they always sought and deserved. Pioneers are rarely lucky.
