In December 2014 the Daptone Super Soul Revue, a band made up of legendary names in soul music and fronted by Sharon Jones and Charles Bradley, did a three-night residency at the Apollo Theater in New York. A historic event that was filmed in detail by a film crew, recording everything that happened on the stage but also the intimate confessions of the band in a residency that ended up being a grand farewell to the stage for Jones and Bradley, who died soon afterwards.
