Felipe Cabrerizo

San Sebastián, 1973. Felipe Cabrerizo has a degree in History of Art from the Autonomous University of Madrid and a master’s degree in History and Aesthetics of Cinematography from the University of Valladolid. He is also a member of AEHC, the Spanish film historians’ association. The author of numerous articles and chapters in books and specialist journals, he has published the book Tiempo de mitos: las coproducciones cinematográficas entre la España de Franco y la Italia de Mussolini (2006) and La Atenas militarizada: la industria cinematográfica en Gipuzkoa durante la Guerra Civil (2007). Currently at the printer is La Codorniz en cinta: del humorismo al cine y vuelta to be published by Filmoteca Española in 2013 and wrritten together with Santiago Aguilar. He is directs the programme Psycho Beat!, specialising in ye-yé and European beat of the 60s, on Radio Círculo. He has been a programmer for the Cine Estudio at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid. Teacher, translator and programmer. Author of Serge Gainsbourg: elefantes rosas (Serge Gainsbourg: Pink Elephants, 2016), he is currently working on the memoirs of Françoise Hardy, La desesperación de los simios... y otras bagatelas (The Desperation of the Apes... and Other Bagatelles).
